Times Microwave Systems Names Adrian Milne as New General Manager

Current GM Ben Reed Promoted to New Position Within Amphenol Corporation

WALLINGFORD, CT — Times Microwave Systems®, the preeminent brand in innovative RF and microwave interconnect assemblies, cables, and connectors, announced the appointment of Adrian Milne as the company’s new General Manager, effective April 3, 2023. Previously the Global Operations Director for Times Microwave Systems, Milne succeeds Ben Reed, who has been promoted to the role of Group General Manager of the Amphenol High Technology Industrial Group (AHTI).

Milne joined the company in 2020. Prior to joining Times Microwave Systems, he held several senior management positions at W.L. Gore & Associates. During his years at Times Microwave Systems, he oversaw the establishment of our India operation and the expansion across all our facilities, as well as led the operational team to dramatically improve yields.

“The team at Times Microwave Systems continue to drive world-class performance through our breadth of product and depth of expertise,” said Reed. “Adrian’s leadership in the business as our Global Operations Director over the past three years has been instrumental in driving this performance. He has been a true partner to me in expanding our operational footprint and investing in new capabilities for our customers. I am excited and confident for the next chapter in Times’ growth under Adrian’s leadership.”

Milne assumes leadership of Times Microwave Systems amidst a period of continued growth and development. With the success of expanding its European operations, as well as a new manufacturing facility in India, Times Microwave Systems has strengthened both its dedication to customers and position as the lead supplier of RF and Microwave solutions throughout the world.

Beyond the manufacturing expansions, Times Microwave Systems released many new products to continue to meet customers’ specific needs. The latest LMR toolkit is a hardcase kit with all the tools necessary for terminating LMR cables and the new Clarity™ 110 Semi-Rigid cable is designed to maintain bended shape after installation for tight, inside-the-box applications. Complimenting the renowned MilTech products, SiO2 assemblies for high temperature applications have been crucial for addressing the unique challenges of these applications.

Looking towards the future, Times Microwave Systems has plans to release a new cable designed to withstand temperatures near absolute zero in quantum computing environments and continue growing our offering of small diameter flexible cables.

“The future of Times Microwave Systems is bright, and it is thanks to the exceptional team we have here who strive to solve customer issues and always put forth their best effort,” said Milne. “I look forward to leading this incredible team and continuing our extraordinary legacy.”
