Times Microwave New Cold Shrink Weather Seal Boot for LMR®-240

Times Microwave Systems introduces the new CS-2060T silicone Cold Shrink boot. Cold Shrink boots are the quickest, most reliable method of creating a long-term environmental seal of an antenna bulkhead connector or a mated connector pair. Once installed, the Cold Shrink will apply a continuous compression around the coax and prevent water from migrating into the connections, eliminating the need for time consuming and difficult to install butyl rubber tapes and mastics.
The expanded tube can accommodate a type N male connector and has a shrink ratio allowing it to form a weather tight (IP-67 and ANSI C 119.1) seal on LMR-240. The CS-2060T boot is also 4.25” long making it ideal for sealing mated interfaces. These boots are built from UV and weather resistant EPDM rubber and designed to operate in severe climate (-40° to 85°C). Tested per ASTM G-53 for UV stability.
Each boot is also easily removed for test or inspection purposes by cutting the length of the tube.
